Fenty beauty Stunna lip paint: the liquid lipstick you need in your life

I’ve tried many lipsticks and often find I’m left pretty disappointed. However having discover Stunna lip paint I think I’ve found a revolution

I’ve heard so many good things about Fenty Beauty, but this is my first experience of trying any of the products. I know I’m a little late with the times, however the brand is quite pricey, so I took the plunge after seeing a fabulous freebie on the Boots website. In case you’re interested, they were giving away a free sample of the new Fenty Beauty mascara to try if you spent over £25.00. Fenty Beauty Stunna lip paint liquid lipstick is described as a weightless 12 hour liquid lipstick that has a soft matte finish. It’s available in ten shades across the colour spectrum with a range of pinks, reds, brown and even black. Having tried so many liquid lipsticks over the years that generally only last a few hours, I couldn’t wait to see if this lasted as long as the 12 hour claim.

So here’s the downlow on Fenty beauty Stunna Lip paint

For the purpose of the review I’m testing Uncuffed, a mild pink berry shade. The formula is really fluid (but not gloopy) so the lipstick glides on so smoothly. It’s pretty pigmented and one glide was enough to get full coverage. The lipstick has an angled sponge applicator which makes applying it a lot more streamlined. The brush is so soft and the applicator feels really smooth so it doesn’t drag or stick as I apply it. It also has a really lovely finish with no cracks in the lipstick. I love how comfortable the lipstick is to wear, it feels weightless whilst still giving amazing colour pay off. The Fenty Beauty lipstick helps to make my lips look a lot fuller whilst still looking quite natural.

What about wearability

Some of the reviews I read claimed the lipstick literally lasts all day, even when they’re doing the normal things like eating and drinking. I was of course rather sceptical of this claim, as let’s face it lipsticks often only last for a few hours.

So how did Fenty Stunna Lip paint do? Well I’m pleased to say it lasted longer then most. By lunchtime the lipstick was all still mostly there. It was only by dinner time (5pm for me) that it had pretty much completely faded away. One of the things I like is that when the lipstick faded away, it completely faded away without leaving nasty lipstick residue (Maybelline Superstay lipstick I’m talking about you!).

So should you buy one? Well if you want super smooth, comfortable lip wear that looks great I’d definitely recommend you buy yours now!

Advantages

Feels really comfortable to wear
The brush is super soft and it applies so smoothly it’s almost like putting water on your lips
You get pretty long wear out of it

Disadvantages

Not the cheapest so you may have to save your pennies up to buy one. Definitely worth it though.
Sadly you don’t get the twelve hour wear that they claim you will.
