With summer almost here, it’s time to embrace your natural beauty. Summer means less makeup and being able to let your skin breathe. To give your skin that little bit of radiance you can try Soap & Glory Glow & Dew It primer.

Soap & Glory Glow & Dew It primer has been designed to leave skin looking fresh and luminous. It contains squalene to control oil whilst keeping skin moisturised and Lindera root to illuminate the skin from within.

Vegan friendly, you can wear it alone or under your makeup.

The consistency of Glow & Dew Illuminating Base & Primer is quite light and similar to a tinted moisturiser. The product has a dark gold colour when applied initially, and when swatched leaves a radiant glow.

The primer has a really subtle summery scent that feels really fresh.

I applied a small amount to the whole of my face to use underneath my foundation. The primer sinks into my skin really quickly and it doesn’t feel sticky. Glow & Dew It doesn’t cover any blemishes, but it does make my face look a lot more illuminated, lifted and glowing.

After applying Soap & Glory Glow & Dew It I applied my foundation on top. The foundation mostly conceals the effects of Dew & Glow, although I can see fine flicks of glitter up close.

Final thoughts

Soap and Glory Glow & Dew It is a nice light primer that would be great for summer, as it would look great worn alone with a tan. In respects of how it works in extending the life of my makeup the results varied.

I tried the primer under several different foundations- Revolution Skin Silk Luminous foundation, Rimmel Lasting Finish and Match Perfection, and found the Rimmel foundations lasted the longest. I didn’t apply any setting spray when reviewing Dew & Glow It and found when I wore the Rimmel foundations on top it does last well into the evening.
