Birthday freebies you won't want to miss

Your birthday is an important day, and it’s no surprise you want to feel special. Whilst I’m sure your friends and family will mark the occasion with lots of presents, cards and celebrations, wouldn’t you want to feel even more spoilt? Well you can with birthday freebies.

Big brands all over the country want to celebrate your birthday with you, and they do this by offering birthday freebies. By signing up to a few newsletters and loyalty schemes, you can expect treats such as food, drinks and discounts on your big day. Who would say no to a free meal just for being born? I know I wouldn’t!

You can expect freebies and discounts from brands such as Asos, Nike, Greggs and more. Keep reading to discover what birthday freebies you can sign up to.

A lot of these offers will require you to buy something else to receive your reward, but that’s probably something you were doing anyway so it shouldn’t cause too much of an issue. Make sure you sign up a few months in advance, and enter your date of birth to ensure you receive your birthday freebies.

Your birthday is the perfect time to get everyone together to enjoy a good meal. In this section you’ll find free meal offers from some of your favourite family and date night restaurants. You’ll also find free baked goods, sweet treats and desserts from brands such as Greggs, Muffin Break and Chocolat.

Shepherd Neame

By signing up to Shepherd Neame you can expect a free meal on your birthday. What’s the catch? You will need to buy another main meal to get it.

Frankie & Benny’s

Frankie & Benny’s will help you celebrate your birthday by giving you a voucher for a free main meal. All you need to do is sign up to their newsletter.

Muffin Break rewards

Pick up a reward card and you’ll get a free muffin on your birthday. Find out more here.

Crepe Affaire

The Crepe Affaire club has lots of goodies for all crepe lovers, and rewards are based on a tier scheme. Whether you’re bronze, silver or gold tier you’ll all get a free crepe on your birthday.

Gail’s

You can get lots of extra drinks and bread on Gail’s if you’re a regular visitor. You will also get a free sweet treat on your birthday. Just download their app.

Krispy Kreme

You’ll get a free doughnut by signing up to Krispy Kreme rewards, and another free doughnut on your birthday. Who could resist!

Greggs

Download the Greggs app and you will get a free sweet treat on your birthday. You’ll find your treat in the reward section.

Barburrito

Download the Barburrito app and you will get one free burrito on your birthday. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn stamps to put towards free wings, sides and desserts.

Subway

Subway will send you a code for a free cookie on your birthday, all you need to do is sign up to their reward club. The reward scheme is changing soon but I imagine they’ll still send out a free cookie.

Brewers Fayre’s Bonus Club

Sign up to Brewers Fayre Bonus Club and you will get 50% off mains when you join, plus a free treat (probably a meal) on your birthday.

Tasty Rewards loyalty club

Tasty Rewards is the loyalty club for all Cookhouse+Pub, Whitbread Inns and Table Table restaurants. You’ll get 50% off main meals on signing up, and points you can put towards free meals and desserts when you dine there. You’ll also get a free meal voucher on your birthday.

Las Iguanas

Get a free meal on your birthday by signing up to their newsletter. You’ll also be kept up to date on new menus, and other exclusive member vouchers over the year.

Beefeater Grill Rewards club

Beefeater are pretty generous with their Grill Rewards Club. You’ll get 50% off mains when you join, a free main meal on your birthday and points to put towards free food every time you eat there.

Pizza Express club

The Pizza Express club is pretty generous but you do need to spend a bit before you can expect decent rewards. There are three triers; bronze, silver and gold and each meal over £10 will earn you one pizza stamp. When you reach each tier you will get:

Bronze

A free size dish every time you dine in or place an online order on Pizza Express.
A free dessert on your birthday.

Silver

Get free dough balls, a free soft drink and free tea/coffee every time you dine in or order online.
Free classic pizza on your birthday.

Gold

The highest tier is the hardest to achieve and will earn you a free Romana upgrade, a free kids Piccolo and more.
You should get a free bottle Prosecco on your birthday.

Hotel Chocolat

Sign up to the VIPme club and expect lots of benefits such as a 15% off introductory offer, early access and previews, 20% off drinks and ices and birthday treat.

Costa Coffee

The Costa Club app lets you earn beans which you can put towards freebies. On your birthday you will get a free treat from their sweet counter.

Lidl app

Download the Lidl Plus app and you can expect a free doughnut on your birthday. No spend required.

Bella Italia

Sign up to their newsletter and you’ll get £15 off on your birthday plus a free main meal when you sign up. You’ll also receive other discounts throughout the year and maybe a few extra free main meals.

Lindt

MyLindt offers a 10% signup discount voucher, £5 vouchers for every £50 spent and a birthday surprise. You can redeem your birthday treat in store or online, however if you order online there is a minimum spend required.

Chopstix

Sign up to Chopstix’s newsletter and you can expect a free bowl of small noodles on your birthday. You’ll just need to bring your id, and you can choose from 3 bases and tasty toppings.

Cafe Rouge

Sign up to Cafe Rouge’s newsletter and you will get a £10 discount off your next visit plus a free main meal on your birthday.

Zizzis Zillionaires club

Join the Zillionaire’s club and expect to receive lots of goodies. You’ll get a free treat when you sign up, and after every 4th visit you’ll get another surprise treat. On your birthday you will be emailed a free main meal voucher.

Taco Bell

To receive a free meal from Taco Bell you’ll need to have purchased from there at least once before your birthday. If you fit the criteria your free reward will arrive in the app on your birthday.

Free birthday drinks

What better way to celebrate on your birthday then with some free birthday drinks? Somehow it just tastes so much better when you know it’s free.

TGI Fridays

Sign up to TGI Fridays loyalty app and start earning your stripes. You’ll get lots of goodies such as free kids meals, cocktails, two birthday treats and more. You will also get a free dessert when you sign up.

All Bar One

The All Bar One app rewards you with a £20 voucher on sign up, and you can earn various treats by dining there regularly. Rumour is you’ll get a free bottle of Prosecco on your birthday.

Kaspas

Get a free cake or shake on your birthday, just show your id to receive it. There is a minimum spend of £6.95.

Miller & Carter

Enjoy some delicious food and drinks at Miller & Carter by signing up to the Miller & Carter reward club. You’ll get a free glass of fizz when you sign up and a glass or Prosecco for your birthday.

Boost juice bar Vibe app

The Vibe app entitles you to lots of goodies including being able to skip the queue (if you order through the app) free juices when you earn 9 points, plus a free juice on your birthday. You will need to have earned at least one point before your birthday to qualify. Simply show your id to get your juice.

Starbucks

Love Starbucks? If you can’t resist your weekly Starbucks visit make sure you download their app. Each order earns you stars which gets you free treats. You will need to reach gold level which is 450 stars to get a free birthday drink.

Bill’s

You’ll get a whole bottle of Prosecco to enjoy on your birthday. Simply sign up to their newsletter to get yours.

The H&M club has lots of benefits including 10% off when you join, discounts, offers and bonuses vouchers. You’ll also get 25% off on your birthday. There are two tiers of rewards- one up to 299 points and the highest 300 points and over which has the most benefits.

New Look

Simply sign up to New Look’s newsletter to receive a 25% off discount on signup, plus a 15% off voucher on your birthday.

Swarovski

The Swarovski club has three tiers of rewards, however every tier offers a free birthday gift. You’ll get a 20% discount voucher on your birthday, pls 10% off when you sign up.

Oliver Bonas

Oliver Bonas offer £5 on signup, plus a free £5 voucher on your birthday. Sign up here.
