Primark PS… Pro Lash mascara – Is it a budget beauty must buy?

I’ve always been a fan of Primark mascaras, they’re great value and can deliver results even some more expensive brands can’t. So I’m pleased to say they’ve done it again with the new PS… Pro Lash mascara.

The mascara claims to be long wear, smudge proof and 93% of reviewers stated it doesn’t clump. It also claims to make lashes appear bigger and longer with a fan like effect. So does Primark Pro Lash mascara live up to its claims? I put it to the test!

Whilst some of Primark’s cheaper mascara are standalone, they like to put their more premium mascaras in a box. Pro Lash comes in a brown glossy box with a number of panellists reviews on the side. I don’t know about you but I’m always more eager to try something that loads of people have loved!

The mascara is vegan and cruelty free so it literally is suitable for everyone.

So how does Primark Pro Lash mascara perform?

When you pull the brush out the bottle there’s a tight sucking effect which ensures any excess product is removed. Gloopy lashes are never a good look!

Primark Pro Lash mascara has a really flexible plastic bristle brush that can get into every corner. The brush feels super soft and kind to my eyes and I started seeing the effect instantly.

After two layers of the mascara my lashes were lifted, well defined with a clear fanned out effect. For the most part it doesn’t clump, but a few of the lashes on the end of my eye did stick together.

The overall effect whilst definitely impactful, is not as bold as the result you get from mascaras like Maybelline Colossal Bubble mascara. By the evening the mascara was still visible but my lashes had definitely lost their false lash effect. However for £4.00 it’s still a great mascara.

Would I recommend it?

At £4.00 this is a must have budget beauty buy. You’ll get beautifully thickened lashes at the fraction of the cost of even a normal high street mascara. It’s comfortable to wear, lashes looked fanned out and performs really well for its price range.
