My July favourites | Summer is the time to chill and relax
Discover what I’m loving this month with my July favourites
One of the best things about Summer is that there’s plenty of time for rest and relaxation. Whilst the weather hasn’t been the best lately, my July favourites can be enjoyed whatever the weather. Want to know what’s keeping me happy this month? Read on and discover if you’re loving the same things as well.
Enjoying a massive box of Pick n Mix
Yes I admit it, I have a really bad sweet tooth. As far as addictions go that’s not too bad though (the dentist has never found any issues touch wood). Recently I bought a whole box of pick and mix off Amazon. It wasn’t quite what I thought as the sweets were different to those in the image, but I guess that’s the risk you take! They still tasted pretty damn good though!
Cherry coke
There’s something quite addictive about cherry coke- it’s just so much sweeter then the original version, and of course that appeals to my sweet tooth. I can normally get through one pack of cans a week I love it that much. Is anyone else a fan? Let me know in the comments box!
Trying out new makeup
The excitement of trying out new makeup to me is akin to a child in a sweet shop. All those gorgeous shades, textures and formulas just waiting to be applied. I love seeing the new looks I can create with my products and showing the world my creations. I recently created a Summer glow makeup tutorial if you fancy checking it out.
Chill out time with my cat Tara
My little fur baby Tara is my number one. She may beg for food all the time but she makes up for it with her cuteness. She has a super cute miaow and can melt anyone’s heart when she shows off her belly. Careful though if you touch it she might have your hand off! She may be one of my July favourites, but she’s loved all year long.
Reading a gritty crime magazine
I find murder mysteries really interesting and can lose hours in a gritty crime magazine. Some of the stories are very detailed and it is truly shocking the depravity of some people’s minds. The girl in the box story is a prime example of this. Is anyone else a fan of all things crime related?
A massive shopping haul
With very little to do lately other then work, I’ve often found myself buying some new additions for my wardrobe. My latest order included some goodies from Dorothy Perkins. I love the cute frill design on the pink strappy top, and the pink blazer will go really well with most of my white tops. The simple white blouse will look great with jeans and is perfect for wearing at home or at work (when I eventually go back that is!).
Eating takeaways again
When the big four fast food joints (McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King and Subway) closed over the lockdown I was a little bit gutted. I don’t eat it that often so I consider it a real treat when I do – and the normal takeaways just don’t do it for me. I was so pleased when they reopened back in May and I’ve been enjoying them ever since. I’m sure I wasn’t one of the only ones who missed them!
Making money when I’ve got some spare time
You could say I’m pretty addicted to finding ways to make money in my spare time. Whether it’s through surveys, focus groups, or as a social media assessor I love it. One of my favourite methods of making money recently has got to be through Qmee. You get regular surveys and if you complete your row of pigs (try it and you’ll get what I mean) you’ll get regular bonuses on your survey reward. There’s nothing better then seeing the little pig peep out as you complete your survey and earn your reward. Want to join? You’ll get a 50p welcome bonus if you sign up through my link.
