Get wow lashes with Lacura Girl Gone Bad mascara

In the last month I’ve tried two impressive mascaras- L’Oreal Big Deal mascara and Lancôme Flutter mascara– but the budget Lacura Girl Gone Bad mascara proves you don’t need to pay a lot to get wow lashes. This Aldi middle aisle budget buy is a dupe of Benefit Bad Gal Bang mascara and in my opinion is a hundred times better then the pricier version. Here’s why you need to snap up Lacura Girl Gone Bad mascara if you see it in store.

Lacura Girl Gone Bad mascara boasts a lash hugging brush design that promises to give a voluminous finish. It has been formulated with Vitamin E to condition lashes and keeping them looking great whilst you’re wearing it. It comes boxed with a eye catching Girl Gone Bad in yellow lettering, and has a smart silver tube.

The mascara has a long tapered brush with bristles that instantly grab every lash. It has quite a wet formula but it’s not overly gloopy. As soon as I applied the mascara I instantly saw my lashes grow 50% in length. My lashes look thicker and it gives a subtle false lash effect.

It feels really comfortable to apply and the brush doesn’t irritate my lashes.

I did find one or two of my lashes stuck together but it was easy enough to separate them. The mascara dries really quickly so you’ll want to make sure you coat your lashes as quickly as possible to ensure you get even coverage. I did attempt to apply two layers but as it dries quite quickly it doesn’t layer too well. However in all honestly one layer really is plenty for that false lash look.

How did Lacura Girl Gone Bad mascara perform over the course of the day?

The mascara held my lashes up well over the day, and there was no smudging or flaking.

Once the mascara has dried it will stay firm till you remove it. It is pretty hard to remove especially with just a makeup wipe, so you may need to use some heavy duty makeup remover to fully remove it from your lashes.

Whilst it does have a few flaws, I love the wide eyed look I get when wearing it so I would still 100% recommend it.
