The ultimate beauty advent calendar 2023 list

It may be early, but Christmas has started early if you’re a beauty fan. Yes I’m talking about beauty advent calendars. This years beauty advent calendars are bigger and better than ever, and that means you get lots more for your money. Whilst a lot of them may seem expensive (and some really are), you can think of it as a beauty investment as you get to try lots of products you wouldn’t normally. Amongst the pricier brands you’ll also find some fabulous budget beauty advent calendars that are under £50 and still packed full of products. So without further ado let me reveal the beauty advent calendar 2023 list.

Selfridges advent calendar

Sefridges is going above and beyond with their advent calendar this year. Featuring 33 items instead of the normal 24, you’ll be opening beauty goodies right through to the New Year. Selfridges beauty advent calendar 2023 is packed with products from brands such as Charlotte Tibury, Refy and Dr Barbara Sturm and you’ll find both skincare and makeup. This calendar is certainly what you’d call an investment as you get over a grands worth of products for just £220.

Harrods advent calendar

The most famous department store in the world has a gorgeous calendar, depicting the stores iconic design. It features 25 products from brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Bobbi Brown and more. The best thing is 21 of these products are full size!

Cult Beauty beauty advent calendar

• Costs: £225.00.
• Worth: Over £1,000.

A must have for any beauty fan, the Cult Beauty advent calendar 2023 is so popular it’s virtually all snapped up the day it’s released. The calendar features products from brands such as Olaplex, Sunday Riley and Glow Recipe. You’ll often find a good mixture of skincare and makeup to enjoy.

LookFantastic beauty advent calendar

• Costs: Only £99.
• Worth: £565.
• Available: From 1st October.

Surprisingly LookFantastic beauty advent calendar 2023 is on sale for under £100. In the current cost of living crisis this is a massive bargain as it’s their highest value calendar to date. You’ll get 27 products to enjoy from brands such as MAC, Elemis, Coco & Eve and lots more.

Glossybox beauty advent calendar

• Costs: £70 for subscribers, and £80 for non subscribers.
• Worth: £473.
• Available: From 27th September at 9am for subscribers and 29th September at 9am for non subscribers.

Another great value beauty advent calendar 2023, is this beauty from Glossybox. It contains 17 full size products and 11 deluxe products from brands such as Medik8, Floral Street and Color Wow.

Lush advent calendar

• Costs: £195.
• Worth: From around £300-£400.
• Available: Now. You can also find it in store from 21st September.

If you love your Snow Fairy, make sure you put the Lush beauty advent calender 2023 on your wishlist. It contains 25 vegan products including their Reindeer bubble bar, Snow Fairy shower gel and Gingerbread lip scrub. The best bit is the calendar is reusable.

Lush Christmas Buds advent calendar

• Costs: £125

Another offering from Lush, this calendar features mainly bath bombs and bubble bars. Each product is lovingly formed into a cute Christmas themed design from snowmen to penguins.

Jo Malone advent calendar

• Available: From 29th September.

If you’re a Jo Malone fan you won’t want to miss her festive offering. It contains candles, cologne, bath and body products in festive scents such as Orange Bitters, White Moss and Snow Drop. You’ll also find classic scents like Blackberry & Bay, Wood Sage & Seat Salt and English Pear & Freesia. There are 25 products to enjoy.

Bobbi Brown advent calendar

Whist this calendar only contains 12 products, you’ll find some of Bobbi Brown faves including their Shimmer Brick, Smokey eye mascara and Longwear Cream Shadow stick.

Liz Earle 12 Days of Beauty advent calendar

• Worth: £168.50
• Available: Now.

The Liz Earle calendar is a bargain at just £75.00 and contains favourites such as their Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and Instant Boost Skin Tonic. There are 12 products in total from eye cream to hand lotion.

Benefit All I Want beauty advent calendar

• Costs: £145.
• Worth: £281.

Always a favourite with beauty fans alike, this year calendar features four full size, and 21 fun size products. Full size products include POREfessional face primer, Fluff Up Brow Wax and Multi tasking cheek brush. This calendar is a great way of trying out Benefit’s must have products, including my favourite Benefit Fan Fest mascara.

Molton Brown beauty advent calendar

The best pampering gift for any Molton Brown fan, they’ll be able to create their own spa from home. Or you could keep it for yourself. It contains 24 products in scents such as Orange & Bergamot, Gingerlily and Black Pepper. You’ll even find the new Marvellous Mandarin & Spice Collection inside.

ESPA Wellness beauty advent calendar

The ESPA calendar is a must have for anyone who loves a good pampering night. It contains goodies such as cleansers, shampoos, creams and more. Each product contains their signature aromatherapy essential oils.

Anthroplogie beauty advent calendar

Another offering from my favourite budget beauty brand. The calendar features 25 products – 20 of which are full sized. It contains a whole array of makeup products from eyeshadow to lipstick.

Jurlique beauty advent calendar

Jurlique beauty advent calendar 2023 contains 24 products from their range including their Rosewater Balancing Mist and Nourishing Cleansing Oil. Perfect for helping you create a morning and nightly skincare routine.

Sisley beauty advent calendar

This calendar isn’t cheap, but it’s certainly unique. It contains a mixture of ful size and miniature products in a gorgeous calendar with unique embroidered drawers. You can expect to find Black Rose Cream Mask and Black Rose Precious Face Oil amongst other products.

The Body Shop The Advent Calendar of Change

This is one of the most affordable Body Shop advent calendars, and contains products such as Shea Body Butter, Coconut Shower Cream, Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner and lots more. There are 24 surprises to enjoy.

• Worth: Around £150.

If you want to spend a little more, this calendar from The Body Shop features goodies from their skincare, bath and body product range. It contains scents such as mango, shea butter, avocado and more. The best bit (apart from the products) is the cute pop up festive illustration.

The Body Shop The Advent Calendar of Wishes & Wonders

One of the priciest Body Shop calendars and for good reason. It’s a real pampering treat with goodies including a full sized hand wash, shower gel, Body Yoghurt lotion, face masks, scrubs and lots more.

Neals Yard 12 Days of Beauty and Wellbeing beauty advent calendar

• Worth: Around £150.

Whilst you’ll only find 12 products in the Neals Yard calendar, they’re definitely worth it. You’ll find products such as a pillow mist, eye brightener and foaming bath that are all vegeterian approved and cruelty free. Perfect for helping you recoup after those heavy Christmas nights out. It also contains a £15 voucher which you can put towards treatment at Neals Yard Therapy rooms.

Charlotte Tilbury Lucky Chest of Beauty Secrets

If you want to try Charlotte Tilbury, the beauty advent calendar 2023 is a great way of doing it without paying a fortune. It contains 12 full size and mini products. This is the ultimate calendar for any skincare fan. It contains 24 full and mini size products from the Sensai range including their Melty Rich Eye Cream and Absolute Silk Cream. It has so many skincare products you’ll probably be covered for the next year.

Paul & Jo beauty advent calendar 2023

• Worth: Around £150.

Know someone who’s cat and beauty obessed? Well the Paul & Jo beauty advent calendar 2023 will make the perfect gift. It contains the cutest cat design which features 24 mini makeup products.

Fortnum & Mason beauty advent calendar 2023

If you’re a perfume addict like me, then the Harrods Fragrance advent calendar will be on your must buy list. It contains 12 perfumes from brands such as Bvlgari and Esecentric Molecules.

A cult favourite that sells out virtually straight away every year is the Liberty advent calendar. Every year it comes in a beautifully unique design that reflects the iconic Liberty storefront. This years calendar contains 29 products from brands such as Paula’s Choice, Byredo and more. Five lucky customers will aso win a golden ticket worth £1,000 each.

What beauty advent calendar 2023 would I recommend? Cult favourites include Liberty, Charlotte Tilbury and Cult Beauty. However with this years bumper Selfridges advent calendar 2023 I would recommend that as my number one selection this year!
