Primark PS… highlighter is the perfect low budget buy which can give your skin a natural healthy glow.

The Lowdown

Primark PS… highlighter has a creamy formula that is super soft and literally melts into my skin. The formula is quite light and I get a really subtle glow. If you’re looking for a really strong highlight, this probably isn’t for you as you can’t really build on the effect. It definitely looks stronger in the swatch then it does when applied to the skin. If you do try to get a stronger highlight, the cream tends to stick to the skin and creates a very artificial effect. The packaging is not the best and the highlighter fell out of its container on quite a few occasions.

Surprisingly for a cream highlighter the effects lasted all day and it was still visible when I got home in the evening. Check out how it looks in my video:

I’m used to the effects of palettes like Sleek Solstice where the highlight is very strong and long lasting, so Primark PS… Highlighter is probably a little too subtle for my liking. At just £1.50 the highlighter is a great budget buy if you’re after a low key natural look.

The highlighter is no longer available, but Primark have a great range of beauty products in store now so you’ll definitely find a good contender.
