Phoera foundation will leave you skin looking perfect for just £2.00
Looking for a foundation that’s great value and leaves skin looking amazing? You need to check out Phoera foundation
Over the years I have tried many foundations, some good, some not so good. However what I’ve yet to find is the holy grail of foundations- the foundation that wows both in respect of price and performance. I’m a member of quite a few beauty groups and often saw posts about Phoera foundation. On sale for just £2.00, it’s been described as one of the best foundations available. Often people associate price with quality and at less than the price of a coffee, it’s easy to think Phoera foundation will be rubbish. So that’s why I wanted to put it to the test. I’ll be reviewing how it looks, it’s longevity and how well it covers blemishes.
Phoera foundation is available in 10 shades from Porcelain to Truffle. There’s quite a few sellers on Amazon but not all of them have all the shades available so you might have to search around. There are also sellers charging a lot more than £2.00 so don’t buy the first foundation you see. They’ve got a guide on the website to indicate which shade will suit you so you don’t have to second guess. Whilst there’s not as many shades as some brands have available, I don’t feel the range is too bad considering the price tag. As I’m pretty pale I bought shade #102 nude. The bottle is quite small but you only need a small amount on each application. The foundation is surprisingly thick but it blends super smoothly into my skin, instantly concealing my blemishes. I do find some foundations seem to stick to the skin so they’re hard to blend, but despite being thick, the formula of the foundation is so fluid. Whilst the shade is slightly darker than my natural skin tone, I didn’t feel it was overly obvious. After application my face looks lifted and really quite radiant. I have a slightly oily t-zone and Phoera foundation leaves the area really matte, and the oiliness doesn’t seem to come through the whole time i’m wearing it.
Over the course of the day the foundation faded, but only slightly. You can boost its longevity through a makeup setting spray like NYX Dewy Finish. Whilst it does have pretty good longevity, I did find the foundation seemed to fade quite a bit on certain areas like under my eyes. As foundation is one of the best ways to conceal blemishes, outside of concealer, I did find this slightly frustrating.
For £2 this is a great foundation that conceals well, lifts my complexion and gives off a flawless finish. The only downside is the limited shade availability and that my dark circles do start to show through by the evening. However for the price I don’t think you can go wrong.
I give it 4/5
