My makeup routine: Makeup products I love

There’s some makeup and beauty products that are a must in any makeup and beauty routine. I’ve recently been trying out some of Sculpted by Aimee’s makeup and I’ve been pretty impressed with the results. I’ll always remain faithful to old and new favourites though even when I discover new products. Here’s a lowdown on my makeup routine and some of the makeup products I love.

Sculpted by Aimee Dewy foundation

I’ve tried many foundations in my time, but Sculpted by Aimee Dewy foundation is my new favourite. It has really good coverage, feels comfortable to wear and gives a subtle dewy glow. Buy it here.

My Mascara has a small curved wand that really helps grab and curl lashes as you go. It doesn’t smudge and stays put all day. I like this one more than the much raved about Sculpted by Aimee Lash Lift mascara. Buy it here.

Rare Beauty liquid blusher

I’ve tried a lot of liquid blushers, but when I tried Rare Beauty liquid blusher in Happy I was blown away. It gives a really natural looking flush, and the blush is so pigmented you only need to apply a tiny amount. The blush lasts all day, is comfortable to wear and it’s good for your skin too. Pat McGrath Precision liquid eyeliner

This eyeliner has a lovely fluid consistency, without being overly wet. It helps me create the perfect cat eye flick. Buy it here.

Maybelline Superstay matte liquid lipstick

Finding a lipstick that lasts is like finding a needle in a haystack. However Maybelline Superstay liquid lipstick is one of those rare gems that actually works. The lipstick lasts pretty much all day, and whilst some of it does fade, If you use shades similar to your own lip colour you don’t notice it. This is a real staple in my makeup routine. Sculpted by Aimee Satin Silk liquid concealer

Creamy and easy to blend, Sculpted by Aimee’s Satin Silk liquid concealer is one of my faves. I do struggle to find a concealer that has enough cover without washing me out, and this really helps conceal my dark circles whilst still leaving my skin looking radiant. Buy it here.

MUA Pro Base Hyaluronic Jelly primer

MUA Pro Base Hyaluronic acid jelly primer is the perfect base if you have dry skin. The jelly consistency helps keep my skin hydrated and dries quickly so I have a solid base to apply my makeup on top of. Check out my review of MUA Jelly Primer on YouTube. Buy it here.
