What would you buy if you could spend £1000 on beauty products? That’s the question I asked myself when I selected some of my favourite beauty picks. I do love a bit of variety in my beauty collection so you’ll see a unique range of skincare and makeup treats.

Trinny London products

I’ve seen a lot of adverts for Trinny London products and I’m enticed by the promise of a whole new makeup experience. If I had the chance I would try:

  • Trinny London The Right Light highlighter £25.00 (on sale for £22.50) – this gorgeous highlighter looks like it gives a really subtle sun kissed glow which is great when you want a more natural look.
  • Trinny London Flush Blush £20.00 (on sale for £18.00) – blusher always looks better when it’s natural and the Flush Blush is designed to imitate a natural post exercise glow. What’s even better is the formula is so light it’s impossible to overdo it.
  • Trinny London Lip Luxe £22.00 (on sale for £19.80) – I love lipstick and I’m always trying new brands. The Lip Luxe range come in a variety of shades from neutrals to brights and the shades are so pigmented they light up your complexion.

Huda beauty makeup

I’ve been a fan of Huda beauty for a few years now and love their highly pigmented highlighters and eyeshadow palettes. Here’s some of my favourite beauty picks from the collection:

mz skin beauty products

MZ Skin

This luxury skincare brand has a range of skincare products that I’d love to try out if I had the money. Here’s some of my favourites.

  • Radiance and Renewal AHA Instant Clarity Refining mask £115.00 – I have pretty good skin but I already have a few fine lines that I’d love to reduce (or get rid of completely – the dream!). The Radiance and Renewal mask contains 8.5% AHA to exfoliate and stimulate skin cell renewals, it helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles as well as promoting natural radiance.
  • Soothe and Smooth Hyaluronic Brightening eye complex £95.00 – I’ve tried so many eye products that promise the world but the reviews on this cream look pretty promising. Soothe and Smooth Hyaluronic Brightening eye cream promises to reduce fine lines, wrinkle depth and dark circles in just 30 days. It also helps to reduce eye bags by increasing moisture and hydration around the eye by 22%.
sunday riley skincare

Sunday Riley skincare

Sunday Riley are one of my favourite beauty picks for their sustainable, high quality and cruelty free products. Each product uses active ingredients that can actually have an effect on your skin and they’re proud to be certified by PETA and Leaping Bunny (they’re vegan as well). Here’s my favourite Sunday Riley beauty picks:

  • Auto Correct eye cream £60.00 – a bit cheaper then MZ Skin Soothe and Smooth Hyaluronic Brightening eye complex but just as effective. It helps to lift and hydrate the eye area reducing the appearance of fine lines and dark circles.
  • C.E.O Glow Vitamin C and Turmeric face oil £34.00 – when my skin is grey and needs a pick me up this oil will really come in handy. The natural goodness of Vitamin C and Turmeric helps to deliver nutrients and antioxidants in the skin to leave skin looking brighter and hydrated.
  • ICE Ceramide moisturising cream £60.00 – I’m always on the lookout for a decent moisturiser and ICE Ceramide moisturising cream sounds really effective. It contains ceramide which helps to boost hydration and strengthen the skins natural moisture barrier against environmental stressors that increase your chance of premature aging. It also contains beetroot, coconut extract, Vitamin F and pomegranate sterols.
beauty fridge beauty picks

Beauty fridge

A lot of beauty products perform better chilled so that’s why a beauty fridge is a great investment. They’re only small so you can easily store them on your dressing table, but they’re big enough to store a decent amount of creams. They come in a variety of prices but my favourite is the Urban Outfitters beauty fridge as it’s pink, quiet and really cold. You can buy it for £65.00.

glossier makeup beauty picks

Glossier makeup

I’ve not tried Glossier makeup before but I’ve heard a lot of good things. Here’s some of the beauty picks that would be on top of my beauty wish list:

  • Glossier The Lip Trio in Cranberry £39.00 ( currently on sale for £31.20, get it while you can) – this set contains three different lip products on Glossier exclusive Cranberry shade. Within the collection is their lip gloss, Ultralips (combines moisture of a balm, shine of a gloss and buildable lip tint) and Generation G (looks like a worn in lipstick). Cranberry is the perfect shade for the Christmas season.
  • Monochromes essential eyeshadow trio £19.00 each (currently on sale for £15.20) – the Monochromes essential eyeshadow palette contains three similar shades in each palette but with different finishes – matte, satin and metallic. The shades can be worn alone or together for a more defined look. I would chase palettes in the shades Clay, Heather and Teak as they’d work really well for both day and night.
  • Haloscope dew effect highlighter £18.00 (currently on sale for £14.40) – who can say no to a highlighter that gives a beautiful dewy effect? I certainly can’t so this is one I’d be adding to my wish list.
  • Cloud Paint blusher £15.00 (currently on sale for £12.00) – this is another buildable blusher that’s top of my wish list. Available in eight shades, the blusher has a sheer finish that can be layered for a more intense look. Haze (a deep fuschia) and Puff (a light cool pink) would be the two blushers I would buy.
raincry haircare

Raincry haircare

Raincry is a luxury haircare brand created by stylist Feisal Qureshi. The brushes are reknown for being some of the best in the beauty industry and made Feisal Quershi one to watch in the beauty industry. After a lot of success the brand soon branched out into haircare collections and other beauty products. Here’s some of my favourite picks from the brand.

viktor and rolf flowerbomb eau de parfum

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de parfum 50ml £62.40 (normally £78.00)

This beautiful scent by Viktor & Rolf is one of my favourite as it combines fruity and floral notes. The perfume contains notes of Bergamot, Freesia, Sambac Jasmine, Amber, Patchouli which help to create a strong, but not overpowering fragrance. It’s one of those scents that has people turning when you walk by. Definitely one to put on your wish list!

xx revolution flexx eyeshadow palette pretty little

XX Revolution Flexx eyeshadow palette Pretty Little £8.00 (on sale for £5.33)

I do love the versatility of Revolution eyeshadows, and this little beauty retails for only £8.00. It’s a lovely palette that features a gorgeous combination of shades with both gold, neutral and earthy shades. There are both matte and shimmer finishes so it’s good for creating a variety of looks, and adding a bit of glamour for when you’re heading out.

So with all these goodies in my basket my total stands at £999.11 at normal retail prices. If you had £1000 to spend what beauty picks would you buy? Let me know in the comments box below.

  1. Yes, I did enjoy that. thank you. i am willing to try any fragrance as I love, love, love personal and home fragrance. I am less willing to try any makeup products as not everything works for me and it seems wasteful not using them. Always, grateful, therefore, for posts like this one!

  2. What a interesting blog. I can’t imagine spending £1000 on make up but I would be willing to give it a go. I would certainly like to try some products from Charlotte Tilbury

  3. Interesting post! Aside from the perfume (Sorry V&R, it’s just not for me) it could be a list written by me. I don’t have a grand to splash but I’m looking to meet my next great moisturiser and the SR ICE moisturiser looks like something that would work for me, my fair dry skin loves ceramide. But then again, the Glossier’s Ultralips is calling to me…

  4. I love the look of the Sunday Riley skincare. Sustainability is important to me, and it’s cruelty free and vegan. Love the idea of a beauty fridge too!

  5. Interesting read. I would love the beauty fridge especially in pink! I open to most makeup and beauty skin treatments.

My no contest is Dermalogica Skin perfect primer, and YSL concealer.

I love Channel and Charlotte Tilbury along with Urban decay. Jane Iredale mascara is a must.

As for skin products with money to spare I would try some of your picks.

However I have to admit to sticking to CeraVe products for their gentle naturalness.

I use a beauty prescription of tretnoin so it must be gentle.

Oh and St Tropez for keeping the tan topped up 😉
