5 post gym hair hacks that make your hair look fab
Fed up of rocking sweaty tresses whenever you’ve got to be somewhere straight after the gym? Discover the post gym hair hacks that will leave you looking and feeling amazing
Whilst it would be lovely to walk out of the gym looking like you’ve just stepped off the catwalk, the reality is often very different. When you’re busy with day to day life, often you can only fit in a gym sesh between work and doing the daily shop. With so much to do you don’t have time to have a full shower and pampering session post gym. To avoid that hot, sweaty, just been dragged through a bush look there are a few things you can do to keep your hair looking good. Here’s some of the best post gym hair hacks.
Don’t forget the dry shampoo
Dry shampoo will be your saviour both before and after a heavy gym session. It works really well in soaking up the sweat so make sure you spray before and after you’ve worked out. By spraying dry shampoo after your gym session, you can revive limp, flat hair. One of the best post gym hair hacks.
You can totally rock a sweat band
You may think they don’t look that cool but they serve a very useful purpose. Also with the right attitude you can totally pull it off. The sweat band will soak up any sweat from your forehead stopping it seeping into your hair. The sweat band is one of those post gym hair hacks that will let you swan out of the gym looking as good as you went in. That’s a winner in my book!
Accessorise, accessorise, accessorise
After you’ve finished at the gym, you’re probably going to tie your hair up into a ponytail or bun. To make it look a little more interesting why not put in sparkly clips, ribbon or a jewelled headband. Sparkly clips have really come back into fashion this season and can really make a simple look sparkle.
Avoid the hair bend
You know that horrible dent you get in your hair when you’ve worn a bobbled hair band? It doesn’t look good and it’s pretty uncomfortable as well. Nowadays you can get specially designed hair bobbles such as the Invisibobble that lets you put your hair up without dents or that inevitable ponytail headache. Use one before your workout so when you leave you can put your hair down without having to worry about hair kinks.
Blow dry that sweat right out of your hair
After a good workout (and if you didn’t wear a sweat band) changes are your hair is going to be pretty sweaty. The hair dryers you get in the changing room are a great way of getting rid of the sweat.
With these post gym hair hacks you know you can get your work out and still look fabulous whether you’re heading to work or picking the kids up.
