Vegamour Hydr-8 Collection Review: Unlock Radiant Hair Today!

Is your hair looking dry and dehydrated? Vegamour Hydr-8 Collection has been designed to reinvigorate dry, thirsty hair.

The products are vegan friendly and contain the key ingredient Karmatin which is a vegan keratin alternative. Karmatin is designed to add hydration and shine without weighing hair down.

Vegamour Hydr-8 Deep moisture repair mask

Previous trials found users experienced 7x hydration after one use, 3.5 stronger hair strands after one use and 72 hours of hydrated, frizz free hair.

Vegamour Hydr-8 Leave in conditioner

Previous trials found it increased hydration by 14x after one use, hair was protected up to 232 degrees centigrade and hair remained hydrated and frizz free for 72 hours.

Vegamour Hydr-8 Weightless Repair Oil

Users found hair had 96% more shine, 92% reduction in breakage and hair remained hydrated and frizz free for 72 hours.

Trials of the shampoo and conditioner found it increased hydration by 6x after one use, hair strands were 5x stronger after one use and users had 72 hours of frizz free hydrated hair.

Out of The Hydr-8 Collection I’m reviewing all the above products apart from the leave in conditioner.

What I’m looking for from the Vegamour Hydr-8 collection is glossy, healthy hair that’s easy to manage. My hair doesn’t look too bad, but I do find the ends seem a little more damaged due to the use of straighteners.

My first impressions of the Vegamour Hydr-8 Collection

Vegamour Hydrate and Repair shampoo and conditioner

When I first tried to open the shampoo I couldn’t work out how to get the product out as there’s no flip lid. After a few minutes I realised it had a screw top feature, a good way of saving unnecessary plastic waste. You do have to remember to screw or back on though or you could lose a lot of product if the tube gets squashed for any reason. The conditioner has the same feature.

Both products have a very strong fragrance, I wasn’t the biggest fan as it reminded me of a perfume for the older generation.

The shampoo lathered really well, and you only need a small amount of shampoo and conditioner to cover all of your hair.

Vegamour Hydr-8 Deep Moisture Repair hair mask

The hair mask has a rich creamy white formula, and I only needed a few applications to fully cover my hair. I used the hair mask once weekly in replacement of the conditioner. The hair mask has the same sort of scent as the shampoo and conditioner it’s just a little more muted.

I left the mask on for around 15 minutes before washing it off.

Straight after washing all the products off, and before styling, my hair did seem to feel a bit tangly.

Vegamour Hydr-8 Weightless Repair Oil

After brushing my hair I applied Vegamour Hyde-8 Weightless Repair Oil. Surprisingly the consistency of the oil was really watery, I was expecting a bit more of a thick oily formula.

As it was quite watery it slipped through my fingers more easily, so I needed more product to coat the lengths of my hair. The oil does however feel weightless and it didn’t weigh my hair down like some hair oils can do.

The scent of the oil is not as strong as the shampoo and conditioner.

When I styled my hair after using the oil it was quite easy to manage, and there weren’t too many tangles.

Final thoughts

I trialled the Vegamour Hydr-8 Collection for a month before writing this review.

The Vegamour Hydr-8 Collection does make my hair look more healthy, and shiny. I love how the ends of my hair look so much more smooth, hydrated and glossy.

However I did find that it seemed to add a slight greasy sheen to the lengths of my hair.

If your hair is genereally quite dull, and dry, or even just needs a bit of a shine boost, the Hydr-8 Collection will really help. The only real downside is that slightly greasy look it can leave.

The collection is normally $210.00 but you can subscribe and save if you love the products. There are currently offers on the collection so you can save a bit of money. It is a little pricey, but if you have really dry hair it can really restore your locks.

Disadvantages

• The smell of the products is a little strong, and would be better if it was more fruity.
• Leaves a greasy sheen on the lengths of my hair.
• A little expensive for some people.
