If I had to describe five of my favourite things, perfume would come pretty high up on that list. I love perfume so much I have two shelves in my cupboard full of bottles – you just can’t beat a fruity, floral or sweet scent for making you feel good about yourself. The only downside is that perfumes can often be quite expensive, especially if you’re a lover of the designer brands. So if you love perfume as much as me, you’ll be interested to know more about the Scentful perfume subscription box.

What did I get in my perfume box?

I was delighted to see one of my favourite perfumes Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir in the box. I love Juicy Couture scents for their uplifting fruity notes that literally last for hours. The other day I wore the original Juicy Couture perfume and it lasted without fading right through to the evening. Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir contains ripe berry notes, sultry amber and bright gourmand accents that really help to explore your sultry side. Also in my box was Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium perfume. When I first tried Black Opium I thought it was too musky, however after trying it again I could really detect the fruity notes in the fragrance. Black Opium contains top notes of black coffee accord with sensual vanilla, white flowers and orange blossom. The base contains patchouli and comforting white musk. Black Opium is definitely a unique scent that has made its name over the years as a trademark fragrance.

Is the subscription worth signing up to?

If you think you’d have to pay around £40 for a 35ml bottle of designer eau de toilette, £13.95 for around 10ml of perfume isn’t too bad. Whilst 5ml seems small it actually looks relatively big (especially compared to the old perfume samples you used to get), and Scentful have confirmed the perfumes will last at least 30 days (probably more) till your next box arrives. The bottles will also look really cute in your handbag for your next night out.

So what do you think, will you be giving Scentful a go? Let me know what you thought in the comments below.
