Smell great with Salt Of The Earth natural deodorant

Deodorant is an essential in every girls bathroom, it keeps sweat at bay and keeps us smelling nice. The deodorant market is huge and sometimes it can be hard to find a deodorant that suits you. A lot of deodorants contain chemicals and these may effect you if you have sensitive skin. If you’d rather avoid deodorants that apply chemicals to your skin you could consider natural deodorants. I’ve always stuck to big brand deodorants like Dove as I’m used to the products and like the scents, however I’m keen to see if natural deodorants work. After seeing what Salt Of The Earth natural deodorants have to offer, I was interested to see if their products can really keep odour at bay.

How did the Salt Of The Earth natural deodorant perform?
For my review I decided to try Salt Of The Earth roll on in Melon and Cucumber. I like fruity scents and I thought this would keep me smelling really fresh throughout the day. I normally use aerosol chemical deodorants so it was definitely a change, but a good one. The scent of the deodorant is quite fresh but it does have a slight artificial undertone. When I applied it I couldn’t really smell much in the way of a scent like you would get after spraying a typical aerosol.
Whilst the deodorant is generally comfortable to wear, it does contain alcohol so it may sting a bit if you apply it after shaving. With most aerosols I wear I find they stop working after a few hours which means they have to be reapplied, luckily the Salt Of The Earth natural deodorant was much more efficient. Whilst I couldn’t really detect the smell of the deodorant it did keep odour mostly at bay through the day. There were times the deodorant started to lose its effect and it did need reapplying but this was nowhere near as often as with typical spray deodorants.
Whilst it would be nice to detect the deodorants scent a little more, I love how the Salt of the Earth kept me smelling and feeling fresh pretty much all day on one application. It’s comfortable to wear and the chemical free aspect is a big plus as well.
I give it:
Advantages
- Keeps you feeling fresh pretty much all day.
- Comfortable to wear.
- 100% natural ingredients.
- Kind to the environment as you can reuse the original packaging.
Disadvantages
- It would be nice to detect the deodorants scent a little more when wearing it.
