How to match your eyeshadow to your eye colour

Let me ask you a question – when you think of the eyeshadow you have in your makeup bag, do they all tend to be the same colour or in very neutral shades? Whilst it may seem easier to stick to the same colours you’ve worn for years, the look can easily get old and dated. Wouldn’t you love to try something different – a look that makes people turn heads and compliment you on your style. Today is the time to put down your old makeup and try something different. I can reassure you that there’s more then one eyeshadow shade that will suit your eye colour. Choosing a eyeshadow to suit you is actually easier then you might think, and contrasting colours can actually make your eyes pop. In my latest post I’ll be telling you all about how to match your eyeshadow to your eye colour.

Whilst we may already be well into the new year, there’s always time for change, so take a look at the guides below and try something new today!

Blue eyes are eye catching on their own so they only need a subtle bit of colour to make them really stand out. The best shades to use for blue eyes are golds, baby pinks and browns.

When you see someone with green eyes you naturally take a second look. Why not make that second look a third look with eyeshadow colours like orange, burgundy and purple. They will create a eye catching statement that you’ll love.

A lot of people have brown eyes and they work really well with bold colours. Why not try eyeshadow shades like greens, greys and navy to compliment your eyes and work well in highlighting the brown hues.

I hope this post makes it easier for you to try something different when considering how to match your eyeshadow to your eye colour. If you liked the post don’t forget to share it on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.
