Four daily habits to help you get glowing skin

how to get glowing skin

What simple steps should you be adding to your skincare routine to get glowing skin? Free Soul are plant based lifestyle specialists that believe healthy skin comes from within. That’s why they’ve made it really easy to help you get glowing skin from the inside out in four simple steps. Remember consistency is everything, so make sure you stick to your routine in order to get results.

take collagen supplements to get glowing skin

Taking a Collagen supplement

The ultimate elixir for a healthy glow, collagen is one your skin’s major building blocks known for keeping your skin plump and bouncy. Around the age of 25, the body’s natural collagen supplies begin to deplete, and by the age of 50 the body has lost around 50% of its natural supply – resulting in dull, lifeless skin.

A liquid collagen supplement will help to replenish your body’s natural source and restore youth. Each Free Soul Collagen sachet contains 8,000mg of Type 1 Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides, for maximum absorption and best results. Plus, it’s fortified with Hyaluronic Acid and Keratin, to provide visible improvements in your skin and hair.

have a regular skincare routine

A regular morning routine will help you get glowing skin

Making your daily dose of collagen a part of your morning routine will help you develop consistency (which always leads to results). Brush your teeth, make your coffee, take your collagen (you can even add it to your coffee!), skincare and shower. Lixir Skin’s three step Good Skin Trio is a great one to try, by the way. Before you know it, it will all become a ritual, and you’ll never forget to take your collagen sachet again.

hydrate your skin with lemon water

Hydrate

There’s nothing more important than staying hydrated, I always aim to drink at least two litres a day. Start the day with a glass of lemon water, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice gives you a shot of the antioxidant vitamin C and helps the body maintain a balanced pH, and continue filling up your cup all day.

use regular spf

Don’t skip your SPF

Everyone’s heard this not-so-secret secret – use an SPF daily. The one anti-aging product everyone of every age should be using on a daily basis. Helping to protect your complexion from damaging UVA and UVB rays (and pollution, Londoners, you have been warned), wearing SPF 30 at the very least, is the number one tip experts give to keep your skin looking good for as long as possible.

I hope these tips help you get glowing skin. If you think your friends and family would love to find out more, please give the post a share on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.

  1. Water is so good for your skin. And it’s so simple, just carry a bottle of water or weak squash with you all the time A lot cheaper than coffee or coke too).

  2. Hydrate. I drink lots of water so feel that I’m doing this part well. As I get older I should start looking at collagen tablets too.
