Barry M Under The Sea nail varnishes review
In keeping with the mermaid trend that has transformed the fashion and beauty industry Barry M have launched their Under The Sea nail varnishes. The new colour shifting shades are available in Angelfish (pearly pink), Jellyfish (lilac) , Pinktail (baby pink) and Butterfly Fish (baby blue). Barry M Under The Sea nail varnishes look gorgeous inside and out.
Pinktail is a pretty baby pink with a gold holographic undertone. The varnish is quite thin but it can be built up for more intense colour. The varnish is very much two toned – when I look at my nails out of the light they appear pink whilst in the light the holographic tones shine through.
Butterfly Fish is a baby blue nail varnish with a pink undertone. Like Pinktail, one layer of varnish is very thin and I could still see a lot of my nail after applying it. Two layers of polish is perfect for full coverage. In the light the pink undertone shows through but otherwise you can mainly see the blue finish.
The combination of sparkle and shifting colour is a real eye catcher and perfect for updating your look for the upcoming Spring/Summer season.
Both nail varnishes dried really quickly and I didn’t experience any smudging or colour transfer. I normally find my varnish chips really quickly and after a day Butterfly Fish had unfortunately started to chip. Pinktail on the other hand was still going strong without chips after a few days. A gorgeous budget eye catching nail varnish that you need in your life.
What do you think of the new nail varnish range? Would you be buying any of the polishes in the collection?
