Avon ColorTrend pressed powder in Translucent is a budget buy perfect for any pocket. It comes in a pretty pink box with bold colours and branding. Inside, the powder is set in a traditional compact and comes with a very girly pink sponge for easy application. If you’d rather not use this you can always apply with your own sponges or powder brush.

The powder felt quite creamy which is unusual as it didn’t state on the box that it was a cream to powder product. I normally just apply powder to my T-Zone area as it’s one of the oiliest areas of my face. Whilst there were only two colours to pick from in the range, I thought Translucent would be the best shade for my fair skin. However I did feel the colour was a lot darker then it it appears, leaving my skin with quite a obvious orange tidemark.

Avon Colortrend pressed powder in Translucent is a reasonably priced product which helps to reduce the appearance of oily spots on my skin. On the downside the colour wasn’t as fair as I thought it would have been, especially considering there are only two colours in the collection. I give it 3/5
