When you’re going on holiday it can often be a struggle to fit all the makeup and brushes you need in your bag. Whilst you probably try to travel light, sometimes it’s easier said than done. So what’s a girl to do when she can fit all her favourite makeup brushes in? Rimmel has come up with a solution- their brand new Multi-Tasker Blush n Brush Stick. But does it work- and most importantly is it any good? I reveal all.

Available in 6 blush and bronzer shades, this space saving product has a creamy blush on one end, and a brush on the other.

It has a melt into skin formula that transforms into a powder finish, is buildable and lasts from day to night.

The brush is designed to seamlessly blend quickly with no mess and no extra tools. It’s packed with nourishing ingredients your skin will love, is water resistant and vegan. What more could you want in a makeup product!?

What is the application like?

For the review I’m testing Cherry on Point, a bright pink shade with a glittery shimmer running through it.

The blush itself is quite sheer and gives quite a fresh dewy look. You can go for a really light glow, or build up the colour.

The brush bristles feel quite soft to the touch, but when in use they feel scratchy and just seem to move the blush rather than blend it.

Does Rimmel Multi-Tasker Blush ‘n Brush Stick last?

The blush is really long lasting and I still had a really warm flush of colour at 10pm.

There was no smudging and the blush stays in place till you remove it. It feels light on the skin and doesn’t settle into the rest of my makeup.

Overall thoughts

The premise of the brush feature is good, but in practice I don’t think it works. The bristles are too compact to allow the free movement of a traditional brush, and that makes it useless at blending. The blush however is really nice and I like the lovely flush it gives.

If you’re stuck for space the dual feature is nice to have, but you could probably blend it in better with your fingers.

Whilst the brush isn’t great, I would recommend Rimmel Multi-Tasker Blush ‘N Brush Stick for the blush alone as it goes a gorgeous dewy look that really lasts.

I give it:

Rating

That score is for the blush alone.
