5 fun things to do with your friends to liven up a boring winters day
Don’t let a dull dreary Winter get you down. I’ve found 5 fun things to do with your friends that will keep you busy for hours on end
So let’s picture the scene, the sky is grey, you’re with a few of your best friends and you’re itching to have some fun. So aside from binging on the latest episode of Riverdale (you can do that next weekend) how can you make the most of your time together? I’ve found 5 fun things to do with friends this winter.
Go ice skating
Ice skating is such a fun activity where you can really work your muscles and show off your balancing skills. Most towns and cities will have a stand alone ice skating rink and prices for adults are normally pretty reasonable. The majority of rinks are indoors so you won’t even need to brace the elements and can skate in the rain, snow or sunshine.
Have a board game tournament
Unleash your competitive side and try then play through as many board games as you can. Several rounds of monopoly, cluedo and Pictionary will while away the time and you’ll have great fun challenging each other.
Build a snowman
This is obviously dependent on the weather. In the uk we don’t get a huge amount of snow but I know other countries do so I can’t leave a little snow acrivity off the list. Compete with your friends to create the best snowman (or woman) or release your inner artiste and try to make you snowmen look as much like you as possible.
Have a bonfire
It may be cold outside but bonfires are a fab way to warm yourself up. Wrap up in warm blankets and have fun reminiscing about memories from the past whilst roasting marshmallows (don’t forget the chocolate! )
Plan a road trip
Road trips are awesome – a chance to explore a new town or city, tourist attractions, bars and clubs. A road trip with friends is even better and will give you all something to look forward to as winter slowly creeps by. Spend the day researching where you want to visit and the places that you want to see the most.
