10 rainy day things to do
In the UK it probably rains 300 out of 365 days. With so much bad weather to contest with it’s essential to come up with a foolproof plan of what to do on the days where the sun doesn’t want to shine. Here’s some of my fave rainy day things to do.
1. Checking out a new TV series or film on Netflix is one of the best rainy day things to do. Why not try a genre you wouldn’t normally watch. You may be surprised and find you love it.
2. Have you been dying to read that book you bought six months ago but still haven’t got round to it? What better time is there to snuggle up with a good book then a gloomy rainy day.
3. If you’re creative, one of the best rainy day things to do is bake some yummy cakes or biscuits. You’ll while away the hours making your delicious bakes, and you can get some real satisfaction from sharing your treats with your family.
4. Check out Youtube and try out a new makeup look or trend. Maybe film it live on Facebook if you want to showcase your new skills? If you want some inspiration why not check out my Youtube channel.
5. Clear out your wardrobe and get rid of any clothes you haven’t won for at least six months (or simply don’t like anymore). You can sell it on Ebay or donate them to charity.
6. Paint your nails in that new shade you bought a few months ago. If you feel like being a bit more creative check out my nail art tutorials.
7. Play a board game with your family. It will get you talking and you’ll soon realise how much fun you’re having.
8. Try something crafty – whether it’s making handmade soap or cards, it’s a fun way of making something for family and friends that has a personal touch.
9. Play a video game. Simple but fun!

Congrats on the TV! Great tips. Last fall, I made it though the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. I was in Prague when they were filming Spider-Man Far From Home, so I wanted to see it…but realized I had to see all the others first.) I love finding documentaries or just turning on PBS.
This year, I’m going to learn how to speak with. an English accent. It’s something very hard for me to do because I can’t hear it, but great for a rainy day.
