Create a variety of looks perfect for day to night with L’Oreal Cherry My Cheri eyeshadow palette

L’Oréal Cherry My Cheri eyeshadow palette is perfect for creating custom unique eye looks. The palette has 16 shades in warm cherries, sweet peaches and fresh neutrals. There are a range of shimmery, metallic and matte finishes. It does claim to have a fruity fragrance but in all honesty I couldn’t really detect much of a fruity smell.

The first 8 shades were really difficult to work with. It took a while to build up the colour and some of the shadows, especially the matte broke up quite easily. The majority of the shades especially the last 8 have really strong pigmented colour, I’m a big fan of the metallic finishes. Some of the shades were not as intense but they still had a nice shimmer running through them. The first 8 shades are perfect for a lighter look whilst the last 8 are much stronger.

I went for a look that combined gold and shimmery pink metallics which are perfect for this lovely weather we’re having. Here’s how you can recreate the look:

The finished look is eyes bright and vivacious with the colours of the sunset.

When applying I didn’t notice any fall out around my eyes. It was really easy to apply and blends well together. The palette does have pretty good longevity although I did notice the corners of the shadow started to fade probably about 8pm. Considering however the warmer weather and increase in sweat I still think this is pretty reasonable.

L’Oreal Cherry My Cheri eyeshadow palette has a good collection of shades that can be worn for a big night or something more casual. There was a fair amount of breakage in the top 8 shades even with just a light application so that something to bear in mind. At £14.99 it’s a decent price considering what you get for your money and it’s definitely a investment you need to make.

I give it 4/5
