Want a subscription box with a difference? Try the Buckt subscription box
Nowadays you can sign up to subscription box for virtually anything from gin to Korean sweets. Whilst material things are great, sometimes we all need something to keep us occupied, especially in times when we’re all stuck inside due to lockdown. That’s where the Buckt subscription box comes in. Buckt basically stands for bucket list and allows you to try fun and exciting activities you’ve never tried before.
Tell me more about the Buckt subscription box…
The box was originally started as a outdoor activity box called Buckt On the Go where you were given the chance to try around 3-5 new activities each month. The type of outdoor activities you could try normally ranged from axe throwing, alpaca walking to letting yourself go in your local trampoline centre. However with everything that’s going on and the endless lockdowns we’re put under, Buckt On the Go box is a little redundant right now as I’m sure you can imagine. So with everyone being stuck in their homes they created the Buckt at Home Box. Essentially it’s the same sort of idea – except all the activities they send out can be done at home either physically or online.
I signed up in December and my first box was the January box. There were 5 activities to choose from and they included a drawing class, a fitness class, a fun mystery puzzle game, rainbow cake set and make your own face mask. The classes didn’t sound that interesting to me so I chose the puzzle game, rainbow cake set and make your own face mask. I do love taking every opportunity to unleash my creative side after all. One of the best things about Buckt is that you get to try things you wouldn’t normally think of doing. For example whilst I have plenty of puzzle books, I wouldn’t think of buying this unique puzzle experience – it’s very much like a escape room in a way, just without the locks.
Here’s a sneak peek into my January Buckt subscription box unboxing and what you can expect to find if you sign up. Bear in mind though the activities each month will vary.
Every month with your Buckt at Home Box you will get the chance to take part in 3 physical activities and 2 online. You used to need to order all of your items, but as of February 2021 all the physical products are sent to you straight away. You do still need to book your online activities though which you can do through their app.
So how much does the box cost?
To sign up it costs £25.00 per month but new members can enjoy their first month for £12.50. Each month you’re paying for two people, and this is the same for the outdoor subscription. When things are more normal you can choose to sign up to both Buckt at Home and Buckt on the go and save money if you subscribe to both at the same time.
