No7 Laboratories Line Correct booster serum helps reduce fine lines
It was billed as the revolutionary new anti ageing product and had a waiting list of over 16,000. The new wonder product Boots No 7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster Serum uses a clinically produced formula of 7 times the normal concentration of matrixyl 3000 to help reverse the signs of ageing in just one week. Whilst I’m not a old lady (yet) I am experiencing the first signs of ageing which includes quite deep fine lines on my forehead, t-zone and around my eyes. I was very keen to try this out based on the critical acclaim and time spent developing this product (plus the price tag!) After my initial review I spent the next few weeks trying out Boots No 7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster Serum. I was optimistic and expecting pretty good results.
The product is a really light white serum that I rubbed into my forehead, T-zone, eyes and the creases either side of my nose. It absorbs fairly quickly, doesn’t have any scent and doesn’t irritate my skin. As I did forget to apply the product consistently on a few nights I did use it for a few more weeks then recommended. After trying it for several weeks I am disappointed to say I didn’t really notice any difference on my face at all. The lines on my forehead are still visible and on my t-zone the lines were as pronounced as ever. There was no difference around my eyes or nose either.
I was expecting a little more from the serum in respect of the research that went into the product and the concentrations of the anti ageing ingredients. Whilst it is probably quite pricey for those on a budget, you only need a small amount on each use so it will last quite a while. I will continue to use the serum and hope that it will have more of an effect in the long run to reduce the signs of fine lines on my face.
I give it 2/5
