When it comes to finding the perfect mascara, L’Oreal have always been my favourite beauty brand. They’re not overly expensive and somehow their mascaras seem to work so much better then other high street brands. It’s been a while since L’Oréal have released any new mascaras, so when I read about L’Oreal Bambi mascara I couldn’t wait to give it a try.

L’Oreal Bambi mascara has been designed to give you a false lash doe eyed effect. With the unique black velvet memory formula the mascara aims to transform your lashes from the first stroke. It has a wide bristle brush with both small and larger bristles. The tiny bristles in the centre help to add curl to your lashes whilst the longer lashes help to add definition.

As you know if you watch my videos on YouTube, you know most L’Oreal mascaras work really well in giving you impactful lashes. L’Oreal Bambi mascara however goes that little bit extra. The mascara brush is really comfortable to use, and doesn’t scratch or irritate my eyes in any way. The formula is just right – not too wet or too dry so you won’t end up with lots of excess mascara on your lashes. I noticed a difference the moment I put it on with my lashes looking long and defined. There was no clumping and I found I only really needed to apply one layer for a doe eyed effect. The only tiny issue I found was the brush is slightly bulky which made it harder to get to the inner lashes. One of the things I love most about the mascara is that I can still see it even when I apply eyeliner. I often find applying eyeliner makes my mascara fade into the distance.

The mascara isnt waterproof, and sometimes my eyes do water a bit but the Bambi mascara doesn’t move a inch. My lashes remained lifted and pretty much nothing had changed from the point I put it on several hours before. I wasn’t left with any streaks or smudges at the end of the day either.

If you’re looking for false lashes in a bottle, L’Oreal Bambi mascara is definitely the one to try. Perfect if you want the false lash effect without the hassle of putting on real false lashes.
