Apple and Bears Grapefruit and Seawood review
What can Apple & Bears do for you?
Make your skin come alive with the invigorating scent of the Apple & Bears Grapefruit and Seaweed collection. The Apple & Bears products are enriched with minerals and vitamins to nourish skin whilst hydrating it with bursts of citrus. Created with skin firming ingredients the formula works at firming and tightening your skin.
The lowdown
Included in the set are the body wash and body silk. The products have been designed with all natural ingredients and are suitable for all skin types. I love a company that cares about its customers and I was delighted to see that Apple & Bears partners with Breast Cancer Care. At least 5% of sales goes to the charity which confirms how dedicated they are to giving something back to the community.
Ecocert Greenlife certified, the products are gluten free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. With no parabens or phthalates the formula isn’t harmful and can be used on even the most sensitive skin without irritating it.
The body wash and body silk have a very vibrant citrus scent that smells a lot more lemony than Grapefruit. You can use the body wash on your hair as well as your body but I choose to just use it on just my body. The consistency of the body wash seems quite loose but it can easily be worked up into a rich lather to get a good wash.
The body silk took a few seconds to massage into my skin and left no residue. After using both the body wash and body silk my skin was left feeling really soft and smooth. The scent wasn’t overpowering and it didn’t really linger once I had got dressed. The Grapefruit and Seaweed scent is quite invigorating and did help to lift the tired haze I was in this morning!
A lovely set that smells lovely and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. As well as your skin feeling good you’ll feel good inside knowing your purchase goes towards supporting a worthy cause.
