Wearing highlighter is almost as natural as breathing. Whether it’s a budget highlighter or a pricier one I love how they can literally light up your complexion making you look awake and leave your skin glowing. The new Revolution Pro collection is simply beautiful and has some awesome dupes of popular brands including Huda Beauty eyeshadow palettes. The three shade highlighter is simply stunning and features champagne, dark gold and rose shades.
The highlights are incredibly soft and spongy, so much so that my fingers literally sunk into the product when applying. When I swatched the highlights I noticed that there was a lot of fall out and powder literally flew about whilst I applied the product to my fingers. With a brush it doesn’t seem to lose as much product and you can easier control how much you apply. The champagne shade certainly gives a wow effect and a little really does go a long way. Try avoid applying too much to your brush as the look is a little over the top as I did have to remove quite a bit as it seemed to drift further then my cheekbone. The dark gold shade funnily enough is not as powerful and didn’t drift as much. The rose shade is just as intense as the champagne shade and I only needed one swipe for a strong effect. All the shades have a brightening effect and sculpt my cheekbones for a chiseled effect.
The highlighters last all day and partly into the evening. By early evening the highlighters turned into pure glitter such spread all over my cheek.
This is a great budget highlighter with highly intense shades that give you a wow look at that glow effect as soon as the highlighter touches your skin. Perfect for when you really want your makeup to stand out like on a date or a night out with your friends. It may be a little over the top for day to day wear and there is quite a lot of fall out when applying but I couldn’t see any other issues.
I give it 4/5

- Amazing intense highlighter effect
- Three shades in one palette
- Great budget buy
- Little goes a long way
- There is quite a bit of fall out so you do have to go carefully to avoid losing too much product, especially if you use your fingers to apply.
