This month 3 budget beauty buys have jumped to the the drop of my monthly beauty favourites. I’ve been really pleased with the results and it just goes to show you don’t need to splash out lots of money to look good – the high street can be just as good as upmarket brands. This months focus was on Maybelline Superstay 24h full coverage foundation, Maybelline Total Temptation mascara and Barry M Liquid Chrome highlighter. So what was so great about my February beauty favourites?
Maybelline Superstay 24 hour foundation
I bought this after I read some pretty amazing reviews. The foundation leaves me with a perfectly smooth polished matte finish that looks flawless. It has a medium coverage that covers most blemishes and lasts for around 5 hours before it needs touching up.
Barry M Liquid Chrome highlighter
This is a new discovery to me and I was amazed to find how similar the Liquid Chrome highlighter was to the much pricier Iconic London Illuminators. The formula is incredibly thick and pigmented and you only need a tiny amount to get a strong highlight. It’s an amazingly low price at £6.99 so it’s perfect for even the smallest budgets. Maybelline Total Temptation mascara
Maybelline Total Temptation mascara is a new release from Maybelline and completely transform my lashes. The massive brush is great at grabbing all of my lashes and adding bold dramatic impact. It does clump my lashes slightly but it’s something I can live with as its definitely not in spider leg territory.
My three favourite beauty products this month are actually three of the key products I use in my daily look. I love a flawless finish and enhancing my best features such as my cheekbones and eyes. What are your current monthly favourites? Leave your responses below!
